I am Mauro Carroni, and I recently purchased a historic business that was founded 45 years ago by Gianfranco Lovicu and Franca Bardi—he a ceramist, and she an experienced shopkeeper. Before this, I travelled all over Sardinia working as a floor polisher. I loved my job and was known for my professionalism, but I wanted to be closer and more present for my family. That’s why I decided to invest in a historic business located in the heart of my city. I have always believed that preserving tradition is an important goal for every Nuorese. For this reason, I decided to rely on the wealth of knowledge collected by Franca Bardi over the years. Even today, I continue to study and gather information to ensure that every single piece we sell carries its history and tradition. We have an immense cultural heritage: Nuoro has museums, stories, history—it still has so much to offer. I have kept all the most sought-after traditional items, from traditional costume jewellery.

We are a shop specializing in Sardinian handicrafts: we sell ceramics, Sardinian filigree jewelry, traditional knives, wooden objects, wrought iron items, Sardinian baskets, traditional textiles, and cork products.
We also provide custom gift packaging, handcrafted favors for weddings and events, and offer delivery and shipping services.
